I have many fond memories of my Grampy. He was one of the key people that fostered my love for jigsaw puzzles, and he never turned down a chance to enjoy some lobster together. I am thankful that he and Nanny were able to come and visit us in Alberta and we were able to do a couple of trips through the Rocky Mountains together. One of my favourite travel memories was Grampy giving an impromptu church service in one of the worlds smallest churches (fit 8-10 people) in Drumheller, AB. He had such a great sense of humour and was always up for an adventure! I appreciate that he, like Nanny, always made time for us to visit with him whenever we were visiting, and he always took an interest in our lives. I am thankful that he lived such a long life and had a chance to see and do so many things. To me, he always lived his life to the fullest he could and that is very inspiring. I know he will be greatly missed, and I take comfort in knowing that he will live on in the shared memories we have of him.
