Obituary of Allan Melanson

Allan Melanson of Moncton, NB passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at the age of 54 years. Born in Moncton, NB on December 19, 1952 he was the son of the late Andrew and Margaret (Steeves) Melanson. He was employed with The City of Moncton. Allan enjoyed the outdoors, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. Left with fond memories are his wife Linda (Ouellette) Melanson of Moncton; daughters Lisa Melanson of Moncton, Norma Jean "Dee Dee" Saulnier of Fredericton; son Jason and Lindsay Melanson of Moncton; grandchildren Tyler Melanson and Alyssa Quartermain; sisters Joyce Melanson, Gladys Woods, Florence Gallant and Jean Melanson all of Moncton; brothers Henry and Theresa Melanson and Edward and Audrey Melanson both of Moncton; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son Shawn Melanson in 1980. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home 171 Lutz St. Moncton on Tuesday March 13 2007 from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 7:00 - 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday March 14, 2007 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in the spring. In Allan's memory, donations made to The IWK Grace Health Center would be greatly appreciated.
