Obituary of Everett John Flanagan

Everett John Flanagan of Moncton, NB passed away with his beloved wife Dorothy by his side at The Moncton Hospital on Friday May 11th, 2007 at the age of 82 years. Born in Coal Branch, NB on April 17th, 1925 he was the son of the late Arthur and Elva (Little) Flanagan. Everett served with the Canadian Army during WWII, and was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6. He retired from the Canadian National Railways after 38 years service. He is survived by wife of 54 years Dorothy Jean (Blakney) Flanagan; daughter Barbara and her husband Don Hambleton of Sudbury, ON; grandchildren Megan and Cameron Hambleton of Sudbury ON; sisters Ruby Fraser of Moncton, and Debbie of Ontario; brother in law Leon Blakney and his wife Helen of Moncton; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Earl and Clarence Flanagan. Resting at Tuttle Brothers. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street on Sunday May 13th, 2007 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A legion service will be held by The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 Sunday evening at 6:45 from the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers. Memorial Chapel on Monday May 14th, 2007 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dale Thistle officiating. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
