Obituary of Edouard Joseph Daigle
Edouard Joseph Daigle of Elmwood Dr, and formerly of Taylor St. Moncton passed away with family by his side at The
Moncton Hospital on Saturday evening, September 29, 2007, at the age of 86
years.
Born in Little Alduane on November 24, 1920 he was the son of the lateAlexandre and Elmina (Maillet) Daigle.
Edouard was retired from The Canadian National Railways after 25 years of service. He was a member of Notre Dame
de la Paix Roman Catholic church, and a member of Club d'age D'or Villa
Hertiage.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Laudia Philomine (Arsenault); sons Edgar Daigle of Montreal and Eric and his wife Gisele Daigle of Moncton;sisters Yvonne Langis of Villa De Repos and formerly of Dieppe, Precille
Robichaud of Richibucto, and Lorraine Babineau and her husband Euclide of Moncton; brother Yvon Daigle of Moncton;sisters in law Margaret Daigle of Richibucto, Lena Daigle of St. Anne De Kent; Marie
Daigle of Manoir Notre Dame and formerly of Richibucto; grandson Nicholas Daigle; step grand daughter Christine Cormier; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Alcide, Alfonce, Alec, Fidele and an infant brother.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame De La Grace Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 10:00am with Fr. Cormier officiating.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery. In Edouard's memory, donations made to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated.
