Obituary of Emily Plante

Emily Plante of Moncton, passed away at The Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton on Friday, October 31st, 2008, at the age of 84 years. Born in Sackville, NB she was the daughter of the late Amie and Alvina (McGraw) Boudreau. She was a dedicated member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church and was also involved with the CWL. Emily was a seamstress and a tailor. She is survived by her children Georges Plante of Woodstock, NB, Paulette Dessureau (late Robert) of North Bay, On, and Brian (Shirley) Plante of Comox, BC; grandchildren Gerard Dessureau (Sam), Dawn Stackhouse (Jeff), Andre Dessureau (Thuy), Denise Heeney (Jamie), Brianne Plante, Rian Plante; great grandchildren Alex, Mathius and Emilie; brother Reginald Boudreau of Montreal, PQ; also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Georges Plante in April 1993, brother John Boudreau, sister Louise Manicom, and brother in law Keith Manicom. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home on Tuesday November 4th, 2008, from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Parish Prayers will be held from the funeral home at 8:30 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 5th, 2008 at 11:00am with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery.
