Obituary of Evelyn Ruth Vickers

Evelyn R. Vickers, of Autumn Lee Retirement Home and formerly of People Park Towers, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at age of 92 years. Born in Moncton, she was the only child of the late Jasper and Winnifred (Brown) Walker. Evelyn will be best remembered for her terrific sense of humour, her passion for reading and her love for crossword puzzles. She will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Pat Vickers of Toronto and by her cousins Margaret, Dorothy and Rob. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Andrew M. Vickers in 1988 and by her son Paul Vickers in 2006. The memorial service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, 171 Lutz St. Moncton, on Monday, December 8, 2008 at 1:30pm.with Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Donations in Evelyn's memory made to the charity of donors choice would be appreciated.
