Obituary of Earl Raymond Steeves

Earl R. Steeves, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Born in O'Neils, NB; he was the son of the late Nobel and Bertha (Horsman) Steeves. Earl was retired truck driver from Cabano Transport. He is survived by his wife Geraldine (London) Steeves; daughters Debora Colpitts of Havelock and Kathleen Steeves of Moncton; son Terrence Steeves of Toronto; sisters Hilda (Vaughn) Jones of Indian Mountain and Shirley MacKinnon of Saint John; four brothers Hedley of Indian Mountain, William (Yvonne) of Montreal, David (Betty Lou) of Irishtown, and Douglas (Violet) of Indian Mountain; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Earl was predeceased by his brothers Francis, Claude, John, Evans, Ross, and Ronald Steeves. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home171 Lutz Street Monday, February 9, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Phillip Griffin-Allwood officiating. Donations in Earl's memory made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to the Stilesville United Baptist Church would be appreciated by his family.
