Obituary of Edward "Ned" L. Pooley

Edward "Ned" Pooley, 81, of Moncton, passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 25, 2009. Born in Moncton, NB; he was the son of the late William E. and Elizabeth A. (Wood) Pooley. He was a former employee with the City of Moncton Water Dept. He is survived by his wife Cecile M. Pooley, three daughters Wendy (Peter Worth) and Elizabeth (Tony Lyons) both of Riverview, Nancy Pooley of Moncton; four sons Danny (Monique), John (Cindy), Glenn (Marcia) all of Moncton and Bill (Lisa) Pooley of Riverview; eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. "Ned" was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters Agnes, Mabel and Florence; and seven brothers Carl, Ernest, Harold, Donald, William J., Charles and Ralph Pooley At the family's request there is no viewing or visitation at the Funeral Home A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations in "Ned's" memory made to the Kidney Foundation or to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
