Obituary of Aurise Lorraine Powers

Aurise Lorraine Powers, of Peoples Park Tower, Moncton, NB passed away with her family by her side at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the age of 86 years. Born in Moncton, NB on January 31, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Napolean "Nap" and Philomene (Landry) LeBlanc. Left with fond memories are her husband Robert Irven Powers; daughters Phyllis A. Estabrooks of Sackville, and Faye Lang of Moncton; sisters Mary LeBlanc of Moncton, Yvonne Breau and Therese Boudreau both of Memramcook; grandchildren Rachel of Moncton, Private Robert of Alberta, Margaret "Maggie" of Moncton, Patrick and Robin both of Sackville; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sisters Jean Powers, Eleanor Boudreau, Violet Boudreau, and Evangeline Martin; also by her brother Claude LeBlanc. Viewing and visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, April 26, 2007 from 2:00-4:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Bernards Roman Catholic Church on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 1:00pm with Father Allison Carroll officiating. There will be a reception to follow. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.In Aurise's memory, donations made to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
