Obituary of Eleanor Mary Mollins

It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved mother Eleanor Mary Mollins (Flett) on July, 15, 2010. Born in Fredericton on December 22, 1915, she was the youngest child of William H. Flett and Emily M. Flett (Gauvin). She was predeceased by her parents, William and Emily, four sisters, Eva Flett, Alice Flett, Rosella Bourque (Emile) and Wilhelmina Levesque (Valen) and two brothers William and Charles. She was the last surviving member or her immediate family. She was also predeceased by her husband George W. Mollins, her beautiful daughter Heather Tuck (James) and her dear grandson Matthew Wade Mollins (Allison). She leaves behind two daughters Karralynn Schreck (Fred) and Margot Tuck (Robert), two sons Michael Mollins (Sylvie) and Timothy Mollins (Roma), Six grandchildren and six great grandchildren, one niece and three nephews. She was a true lady. Kind, gracious and compassionate, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be truly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her. Eleanor's family would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the wonderful staff members of the Villa Providence, Shediac, N.B. for the tremendous care, kindness, respect and dignity which they showed toward our beautiful mother. Your kindness will always be remembered and appreciated. At the request of the family a private service will be held for immediate family members only at the Riverview Funeral Home Chapel, Riverview, NB on July 20, 2010, with Father B. Sloan officiating. Cremation has already taken place. Because of our mothers passion and compassion for animals and their welfare, in lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes to make a contribution in Eleanor's memory can do so by making a contribution to the SPCA.
