Obituary of Edmund S. Jensen

Edmund S. Jensen, 84, of Moncton, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Born in New Denmark, NB; he was the son of the late Thorvald and Anna (Skaftved) Jensen. He retired from Eatons Service Dept with 25 years service. Edmund was a mason and a member of Keith Lodge #23 Moncton since 1968. Edmund will be sadly missed by his wife of 59 years, Lois W. (Betts); his sister Rita Boyd of Moncton; his brother Berg Jensen both of Moncton, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two brothers John and Peter Jensen. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. Moncton, on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 2:00pm. with Rev. Gayle MacDonald officiating. Keith Lodge #23 will conduct a masonic service, Tuesday evening, March 15, 2011 at 6:45 pm from Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home. Donations in Edmund's memory can be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation "Speech Therapy Dept", Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton in the spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
