Obituary of Eloi Ross

Eloi Ross of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, March 21, 2011 at the age of 57 years. Born in Bathurst, NB on February 16, 1954 he was the son of Geralda (Roy) Ross of Riverview and that late Raymond Ross. Eloi was a senior electrical designer with MCW Maricor working 39 years in the industry. He was a member of the NBCETT, IEEE, IES, BRT. Also, he was a past member of the Riverview Lions Club. Eloi enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Above all was the love he had for his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his mother Geralda; his daughters Robin Ross of Fredericton, and Jessica Steeves (Darin) of Riverview, sisters Linda Sweeney (Raymond) of Miramichi, and Donna Price (Wayne) of Riverview; brother Robert (Laura) Ross of Riverview; adoring grandchildren Kalyca Ross, Karina, Cassidy and Cole Steeves; former wife Joyce Power; also by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home on Wednesday March 23, 2011 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. A private funeral service will be held for the immediate family. In memory of Eloi, donations made to the the Oncology Unit at either the Moncton Hospital or the G.L. Dumont Hospital, or to the Autism Resource Center located at The Lewisville Middle School would be appreciated by the family.
