Obituary of Effie May LeFurgey

Effie May LeFurgey, 102 years, of Lakeville passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Thursday March 1, 2012. Born in Millstream, NB on June 27, 1909 she was the daughter of the late Wilfred David Law and Mary Elizabeth (Kelso) Schofield. Effie was a member of the New Journey Pentecostal Church in Lakeville, NB. She was a member of the Golden Dears Seniors Club. Survived by daughters Charity Boucher with whom she resided, Mary Gould (Lloyd) of Pine Glen; sons Frank (Iva) LeFurgey of Pine Glen; 21 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 30 great great grandchildren; and 1 great great great grandchild; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Frank Soloman LeFurgey in 1968; son Leslie LeFurgey in 1998; brothers Percy, Arthur, Gordon, Cecil, Wellington, George Leslie, and Harold; sisters Hazel, Alvina, and Helen; grandchildren Carol, Gerry, and Raymond; also by two great grand children Destiny and Philip. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Sunday March 4, 2012 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Monday March 5, 2012 at 1:00pm. Donations in Effie's memory made to the the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
