Obituary of Eleanor Pearl Gabriel

Eleanor Pearl Gabriel, age 83 of Dieppe and formerly of Amherst, NS, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2014 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Helen (Gay) Morse. For many years Eleanor worked with her husband Roy at their business, Gabriel’s Garbage Disposal and later at the School for the Hearing Impaired in Amherst. She enjoyed sewing and knitting clothing for her family. Eleanor was an avid reader and card player. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Eleanor will be deeply missed by her children; Joanne (Real) Dionne of Moncton, Barbara (Al) Abraham of Dieppe, Karen (Scott) Johnson of Canterbury, NB, Roger Gabriel of Moncton and Wendy (Mario) Boudreau of Dieppe; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as sister, Donna Morse of Alberta. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by a granddaughter, Tobi and a great granddaughter, Tristen. By personal request there will be no visitation or funeral service held at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd.
