Obituary of George Leonard Haley

George L. Haley, 85, of Dieppe, and formerly of Moncton, passed away at Dr. Georges Dumont University Hospital, on Thursday, January 5, 2012. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Ernest and Lucy (Gauvin) Haley. George was retired from The Moncton Hospital with 22 years of service. He was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch #6. George is survived by his children Karen Haley, Brian Haley and Ronald Haley all of British Columbia and Richard Haley of Halifax; one sister Loretta Gourley and one brother Edward Haley both of Moncton; as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by three brothers Albert, Martin and Norman Haley and by three sisters Doris Woodman, Alice Woodman and Alma Trites. Honoring Georges wishes, there is no visitation or funeral service. A graveside and committal service will be held in the spring. Donations in George's memory made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
