Obituary of Joseph Alexander Robinson

Joseph Alexander Robinson, of Riverview, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Friday, March 23, 2012. Born in Port Elgin on October 3, 1916 he was the son of the late Dr. Arthur and Minnie (Morton) Robinson. Joe served in the Royal Canadian Navy during world war II, he was a Bank of Montreal pensioner and for many years was a law librarian for the Moncton Area Lawyers Association. He will be sadly missed by two sons Kent (Brenda) of Moncton, William (Barbara) of Calgary Alberta; two grandchildren Joanne of London Ont. and Leigh Maier (Joe) of Calgary AB; one nephew Tom McWilliam of Ottawa Ont. and by friend Dorothy Power-Lawson. Besides his parents Joe was predeceased by his wife Sarah Robinson in 2005 and sister Harriett McWilliam Griffiths. By personal request there will be no visitation or funeral service, a grave side service will be held in Baie Verte Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Joe's memory may be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to the Alzheimers Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
