Obituary of Audrey Olga Hopper

Audrey O. Hopper, 94, of The Briarlea and formerly of the West End in Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 Born in Moncton on December 12, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Frank A. and Birdie M. (Tucker) Murray. Audrey was a former employee of the T. Eaton Co. Her hobbies included quilting, crocheting and listening to music. During her stay at Briarlea, Audrey enjoyed participating and encouraging other residents to partake in social and exercise activities. Left with fond memories are her nieces, nephews, and cousins. Audrey was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Archie Hopper and her brother Everett H. Murray Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00pm and Friday January 18, 2008 from 1:00pm until the time of the service. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Donations in Audrey's memory made to Charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
