Obituary of Geneva Gertrude Wood

Geneva Gertrude Wood, 88 , of Moncton, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Tuesday, April 02, 2013. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Julia (Somers) Godsoe. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.Geneva worked at T. Eaton Company in the catalog distribution center. She will be sadly missed by her son J. Paul (Jeannette) Wood, daughter Joan (Winston) Fisher, and their families. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband John Edward Wood in 2002; brothers Ned and Ivan Dewey; sister Mamie MacLeod. As per her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in Geneva's memory may be made to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Autumn Lee Retirement Home, Dr. Jamie Stewart and the the staff of the Moncton Hospital for their excellent care.
