Obituary of Loretta Nelda Englehart

It is with great sadness that the family of Loretta "Blondie" Nelda Englehart (nee Cameron) announces her passing on November 28, 2013. The daughter of the late Oran and Helen (Plume) Cameron, Loretta was born in Havelock, NB May 6, 1930 and made her home in Lakeburn, NB, most recently she resided at the Sunset Special Care Home in Moncton. Blondie met Melvin in 1947 and they were married in 1951. Blondie was a devoted wife to Melvin and they had a long and happy marriage for 52 years before Melvin’s passing in 2003. Blondie married her best friend and together Blondie and Melvin made a life together working, keeping a garden and looking after their home. Blondie will be forever remembered by her family and friends. She is survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in- law, Boyd and Norma Englehart and special nephew Melvin (Helen) as well as her many nieces and nephews and extended family members. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Stuart and Gerald Cameron. A Private Funeral Service in Blondie’s memory will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, Lutz St. Moncton on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11:00am with Rev. Ron Maund officiating. Blondie’s family is forever grateful to so many who supported her at Sunset Special Care Home and the Palliative Care Unit at the Moncton Hospital. The family is deeply grateful for your kindness, compassion and caring. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorial donations in Blondie’s memory to the charity of their choice.
