Obituary of Amanda Dawn Douthwright-Belone

Amanda peacefully went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 7th, 2008 with her family by her side at the Moncton Hospital. Left with broken hearts are her mother Sandra (Douthwright) Belone; father Carlton Belone; brothers Joshua and Ethan; and sister Gabrielle. She will also by sadly missed by her "Nanny" Diane McLaughlin; her second mother Kate Cogswell; second grandmother Bonnie MacKenzie; as well as cousins Isaiah Douthwright and Sarah McLaughlin of Montreal. Predeceased by her infant cousin Kristen Douthwright in 1994. Amanda graduated from Moncton High School in June 2003, followed by receiving a liver transplant in September 2003. She was a past employee of the Times and Transcript. The family wishes to thank all the nursing staff at the Moncton Hospital whose loving kindness made Amanda's last days comfortable. A very special thank you to Dr. K. Dufour, Dr. P. Mansfield, Dr. C. Levesque and all the extra-mural nurses whose home visits supported Amanda and the family. A special thank you as well to Calvin Sanderson whose loving kindness was very much appreciated and will never be forgotten. By personal request cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date. Donation's in memory of Amanda made to the Liver Foundation or the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated by her family.
