Obituary of Myrtle Audrey Forbes

Myrtle Audrey Forbes, of Riverview, NB passed away on Monday, August 4, 2014 at the age of 90 years at The Moncton City Hospital with family by her side. Born in Stanley, NB she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Della M. (Bradshaw) Rodgers. Myrtle was a member of the Fairlanes Senior's Bowling League. She enjoyed square dancing, knitting, crocheting, travelling and above all she cherished spending time with her family. Myrtle is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Ralph F. Forbes; daughters Sharon Watkins (David) of Riverview and Ruth Forbes of Richmond Hill, ON; sons Wayne (Carolyn) Forbes and Peter (Lea) Forbes both of Riverview, and John Forbes of Fredericton; 9 grandchildren Peter, Darlene, Susan, Kimberlee, Mark, Michael, Rebecca, Trisha and Alexander;13 great grandchildren; sister Elsie Fullerton of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters Mabelle Woodcock and Hilda Cameron; brothers Fred, Vincent, Harry, and Gordon. In keeping with Myrtle's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.Private internment will take place at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
