Obituary of Winnifred O. Whitenect

Winnie Whitenect, passed away at the Jordan Lifecare Center, on Tuesday, December 09, 2014. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy (Lawrence) Whitenect. Winnie was a long time resident of the Jordon Life Care Centre. She enjoyed the many activities including bus rides, concerts and the church services in which she loved to join in the singing of some of the hymns. Winnie also loved getting her bouquets of flowers when visited by her family. Survived by five sisters, Dorothy Kelly (Ralph) of Moncton, Barbara Laird (Lee) Porters Lake, NS., Norma Elges, Shediac River, Christine Surette (Michael), of Moncton and Carol Mullin (Kenny) of Moncton, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one brother Roy Whitenect and one brother in law Russell Kelly. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 1:00pm with Rev. Keith Adams officiating. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Winnies memory made to the Jordon Life Care Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
