Obituary of Edward Jerome Donahue

Edward Jerome Donahue, 87 years, of Moncton, NB; passed away at the Salvation Army Lakeview Manor, on Sunday, March 29, 2015. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Hugh T. and Helene (Doherty) Donahue. Edward was the owner of Ed's Corner Convenience Store on the corner of Mountain Rd. and Archibald Street for 35 years. He later worked for MacDonald Paving for 17 years prior to his retirement. Survived by his wife Myrtle (Legace); sons Jerome E. (Melanie) of Edmonton, AB, and R. Peter (Phyllis) of Waterloo ON; sisters Laura (Robert) Lagare of Ottawa, and Gerladine (Peter) Clarke of Burlington, ON; brother John (Shirley) Donahue of Kitchener, ON; grandchildren Bliss, Beatrice and Chris; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son Lucien T.; sister Mary Mellon; brothers Joseph and Vincent. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 11:00am with Father Allison Carroll officiating.
