Obituary of Gerald Kenneth Welling

It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald Kenneth Welling announces his passing after a lengthy illness, on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the age of 73 years. Gerald is the son of the late Kenneth & the late Marie (Hoyt) Welling. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sandra Lynn (Leeworthy) and his children Diane (Kevin) Ryland, Richard (Brenda). He will also be fondly remembered by his two granddaughters, April & Breanna, by his brother, Malcolm (Shirley), sister, Judy (Robert) Dernier and by sister-in-law Katie Welling. Gerald was predeceased by his first wife, Brenda (Coates) Welling, son Daniel and brother, Norman. Before Gerald’s retirement he worked for the Department of Transportation for over 30 years. Gerald was a member of St. Martin’s-in-the-Woods Church in Shediac Cape, where he served in various capacities including Parish Warden. Funeral Service and Interment will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., at St. Martin’s-in-the-Woods Church, Shediac Cape, with The Reverend Kevin Borthwick officiating.
