Obituary of Ronald Joseph Ashley

It is with great sadness that the family of Ron Ashley announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. Born in St. Stephen, NB, on June 12, 1949, Ron was the son of Shirley Ashley Johnson (Gilman) of Riverview and the late Gordon Ashley. Besides his mother Shirley, he is survived by his wife of 45 years Nancy (Shea), sons Sean (Jessica Wilson) of Burnaby, BC, David (Martha Beardsworth) of Sunshine Coast, BC, sisters Peggy Maillet (Wayne), Sharon Ingram (Jim), Sheilah Yeomans (Paul), Debbie Leighton (Peter), mother-in-law Pauline Shea (Melanson), sisters-in-law Cathy Shea (Peter), Linda Shea (David), brother-in-law Victor Shea, and nieces and nephews Chris, Nick, Michelle, Julie, Kelly, Allison, Joe, Elizabeth, Phillip, Joe, Tommy, Danny, Tasha, Dilly, Kaity, Lauren, Michelle, Darcy, and Liam. Besides his father Gordon, he was predeceased by his stepfather James Johnson, father-in-law Ralph Shea, sister-in-law Susan Shea, and brother-in-law Danny Shea. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home on Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm followed by a celebration of life.
