Obituary of Ralph "Dale" Dunn

Dale Dunn of Shediac, NB passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Moncton City Hospital. He was born in St. Thomas, Ont, the son of the late Glen and Doreen Dunn. Dale was a gentle giant who loved life, especially when on his motorcycle touring the provinces and exploring back roads. He was always ready to say let’s pack a lunch and hit the road. He and Bernice took many tours around NB, NS and PEI enjoying the beauty of each province. Dale was an entrepreneur, and owned and operated many small businesses throughout his life. He also loved animals. Before his resent retirement, he opened a thrift shoppe in PEI where he gave his profits from sales to help people who could not afford to pay a vet to help save the life of a pet in need of health care or surgery. Dale will be sadly missed by his partner, companion and best friend of over 8 years, Bernice Conner. A daughter, Venessa, as well as his son, Joshua (Barb) of River Hebert, NS. Josh and Barb recently moved to the east coast and Josh has spent many days reconnecting with his Dad. Among other things, they enjoyed ATVing and their last day together was spent on a long trail ride together on Wednesday, making lasting memories. Honoring Dale’s wishes cremation has taken place and he requested no service.
