Obituary of Howard Stirling Mintis

Howard Stirling Mintis, 78, of Richibucto, NB, passed away at Dr. Georges Dumont University Hospital, Moncton, NB, on Thursday, April 26, 2018. He was the son of the late Gordon and Geraldine (Johnson) Mintis, of Cambridge, Kings County, NS. He is survived by one son, Howard Nigel (Gabriela) Mintis, their children, Andrea and Emily, and Nigel’s mother, Marion Mintis, all of Guelph, ON. Six sisters, Anne (James), Chomedey, Q.C., Shirley (Frank), Frisco, TX, Mary (John), Toronto, ON, Carole (Raymond), Kanata, ON, Sheila, Dartmouth, NS, Myla, Brockville, ON; One brother, Gordon "Ned", Cambridge, NS; sister-in-law, Leah, Kentville, NS and several nieces and nephews. Howard’s family would like to give special thanks to doctors, nurses, and staff of 4F at Dr. Georges Dumont University Hospital for their professional care of Howard. There will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will take place at a later date in Cambridge, NS.
