Obituary of Wilfred Knight

Wilfred Knight, 81, formerly of Memramcook, NB; passed away at Villa Providence Shediac, with his family at his side on Friday, March 25, 2022. He was the son of the late James and Melina Knight. Wilfred retired after 24 years service in the Canadian Armed Forces, as Corporal and later worked at Co-op Atlantic Feed Mill. He enjoyed sports and loved curling, he also volunteered with local organizations, rebuilding computers and giving back to the local school districts for the kids. Survived by two sons, James Knight and Robert Knight (Dawn) all of Memramcook; grandson, Jaxon and beloved sister in law Patricia Dernier-Johnston (Michael) and family. Last surviving member of his immediate family. Predeceased by parents and by his wife Barbara Joyce Knight. The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 1:30pm. Interment will be in Miramichi Cemetery at a later date.
