Obituary of Dorothy I. Beers

Dorothy I. Beers of The Kiwanis Nursing Home in Sussex, and formerly of Harcourt passed away at The Sussex Health Center on Sunday January 22, 2006 at the age of 75 years. Born in Emmerson, NB on January 12, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Hesba (Young) Beers. She was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church in Beersville, NB. She is survived by sisters Gladys Templeton and Marilyn MacDonald both of Riverview; brothers Gordon of Moncton, and Eldred and his wife Doris Wickham, NB; sisters in law Delores Beers of Ontario and Theresa Beers of Moncton; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Harry in 1981, Carman in 2002, and Donald in 2004. Resting at The Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB on Tuesday January 24, 2006 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM nd 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday January 25, 2006 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Cecil Symes officiating. Interment will be in St. James Presbyterian Church in the spring. In Dorothys memory, donations made to The Kiwanis Nursing Home in Sussex or to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by her family.
