Obituary of Derek John Roundell

Derek Roundell, 35, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, February 13, 2008. Born in Moncton, July 17. 1972, he is the son of the late John M. and Dianne E. (Wood) Roundell. Derek was employed in Advertising Sales with Fenety Marketing Services. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed golfing, baseball and music, however his greatest love was his family and his girls. He will be sadly missed by his wife Michelle Pidgeon, their daughters Katelyn and Abigail at home; his sister Joanne Bland (Jason) and his brother Steven Roundell (Carol) all of Moncton, his father in law and mother in law Paul Pidgeon and Jeannie Saint of Riverview; aunts, uncles, cousins, his nephews and nieces Devon, Taylor, Jorja, Maddie, Jason and Deanson; brother-in-law Lee Pidgeon of Saint John; sisters-in-law Lisa Eames (Kevin) of Victoria, BC; and Erin Pidgeon of Riverview. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, Pine Glen Rd. on Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 18, 2008 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery, Riverview, NB. Donations in Derek's memory made to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family. The family would like to thank the doctors and a special thank you to the nurses of MS.
