Obituary of Doreen McSheffery

Doreen McSheffery of Moncton, passed away on Sunday, September 7th, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Georgetown, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Scully and Agnes (French) Sullivan. She spent her early years in Georgetown and Charlottetown. She embarked on a teaching career which she cut short to raise her young family and after which she worked for the family business for many years retiring in 2001. She always took her summers off, so she could spend time at her cottage. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 41 years Harry; sons Daniel (Christine) and John; daughter Tanya (Andrew) Mercer; grandchildren Emma, Justin and Valerie; mother Agnes and stepfather Michael Sullivan; sisters Sheila (Eric) Kelly, Sharon (Walter) Keicher and Patricia (John) Morton; brother Gary (Shirley); as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews whom she was very close to and a very large circle of friends that will never forget her. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home (171 Lutz St, Moncton) on Tuesday, September 9th, 2008 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 10th, 2008 from St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church (43 Botsford St, Moncton) at 11:00am with Father Allison Carroll officiating.
