Obituary of Doreen Iris Oakley

Doreen Iris Oakley, age 83 years, passed peacefully away at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Born in St. Catherine's, Ontario on June 16th, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John and Doris (Watson) Girling. She is survived by her children Bonnie Jones (Don) of Riverview, Gary of Ninamo BC, Tim (Mavis) of Cambridge, On and Brian (Dawn) of El Paso, Tx; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and sister Joyce Barbour (Don) of BC. Doreen was predeceased by her husband William Oakley in1970. By personal request, there will be no visitation or funeral service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Font Hill Cemetery, Font Hill, Ontario. Donations in memory of Doreen made to the Canadian Diabetic Association would be appreciated by her family.
