Obituary of Dorothy Geraldine Meunier

Dorothy Geraldine Meunier, age 79 years, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Villa Du Repos Nursing Home on Sunday, February 8, 2009. Born in Amherst, Nova Scotia on June 4th, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Gladys (Baker) Arsenault. Dorothy loved to dance and was an avid dart and bingo player. She was involved with the CNR War Veterans, and the Legion Branch #6; she also volunteered with the East End Boys and Girls Club. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Geraldine (Len) of Moncton, NB; son Arthur Jr. (Jeannine) of Moncton, NB; half sisters Janice of Dieppe, NB, Jannie of Calgary, AB, Robin of Amherst, NS, Patsy (Roger) of Sackville, NB; brothers Douglas Arsenault (Audrey) of Beamsville, On, Gordon Arsenault (Betty) of Hamilton, ON; half brothers Roy of New Glasgow, NS, and Phillip of The Philippines; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Arthur Meunier Sr. in 1982; brothers Logan and Jackie; and three brothers at birth. Visitation will be held from Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 11th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 12th, 2009 at 2pm from Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Paul Donelle officiating. Interment will take place in Our Lady of Calvary R.C. Cemetery in the spring.
