Obituary of Dorothy Eva Lockhart

Dorothy E. Lockhart, 95, of Moncton, and formerly of Lewisville, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, October 17, 2010. Born in Harrisville, NB; she was the daughter of the late Fred and Eva (Matthews) Lutes. Dorothy was an active member of Lewisville Baptist Church, she was also a former Sunday School Teacher and a member of the WMS Group of Lewisville Baptist Church. She will be sadly missed by her two sons Ralph Lockhart of Allison, NB and Brian Lockhart of Quispamsis, NB; her two grandsons Christopher and Jeremy Lockhart; two sisters Margaret Weldon and Grace Sherwood both of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Dorothy was predeceased by her husband John C. Lockhart in 1995, also by two brothers Harvey Lutes and Roy Lutes. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. Moncton, with visitation on Monday, October 18, 2010 from 7:00 pm to 9:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, Moncton, on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Gordon MacLeod officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB. Donations in Dorothy's memory made to the Lewisville Baptist Church Memorial Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
