Obituary of Donald Stanley Jones

Donald Jones, 84 years, of Shediac Cape passed away at his residence, on Monday, August 22, 2011. Born in Salisbury, NB on October 11, 1926 he was the son of the late Soloman and Nettie (Horsman) Jones. Donald had worked for many years as a school bus driver, retiring from District 2. He was a member of St. Martin's in the Wood Anglican Church. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years Ethel (Hannington) Jones; daughters Joyce (Marven) Taylor of Shediac Cape; Dorothy (Nelson) Beaumont of Riverview; son David (Nicole) Jones of Shediac Cape; six grandchildren Stacey, Wesley, Heidi, Jessica, Caitlin, and Joshua; six great grandchildren Austin, Grace, Hunter, Edie, Molly, and Coco; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his great granddaughter Chelsey Taylor; sisters Pearl Johnson, Stella Sherwood, Ola Smith, Isabel Gillis, and Verna Landry; also by his brother Freeman Jones. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday August 24, 2011 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Martin's in the Wood Anglican Church on Thursday August 25, 2011 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Richard McConnell officiating.
