Obituary of Andrew Charles Devine

Andrew Devine, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the age of 80 years. Born in Plessisville Quebec he was the son of the late John and Annette (Chenier) Devine. Andrew retired in 1994 from Wolverine Tube in Montreal after 40 years service. He was a lifetime member of the Professional Sales Association. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Patricia (Richard); sons Richard Devine of Laval, Que and David (Shine) Devine of Whitby ON; grandchildren Melissa, Andrew and Isabelle; sister Anna May (Kenneth) Hughes of Mississauga, ON; sister in law Bernadette (Donald) Doiron of Moncton and Anne-Marie (Robert) Crossman of Dieppe; also by several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 1:00pm with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital, the Alzheimers Society of South East NB or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
