Obituary of Donald Joseph Cormier

Donald J. Cormier, 63, of Indian Mountain, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Aldor and Evelyn Cormier. Donald was employed with Metro School Bus Service Maintenance Department and was a former School Bus Driver. He enjoyed living in the country and working on his hobby farm where he had a variety of animals including his horse and dog "Duke". A kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, he will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 42 years Sharon C. Cormier; his mother-in-law Elaine Babcock of Moncton; his daughters Susan LeBlanc (Denis) of Moncton; Sandra McKenna (Wade) of Kensington, PEI. and Sherry LaQuant (Mark) of Milton, ON; nine grandchildren Rebecca, Erica, Marcel and Jean Luc LeBlanc, Daniel LaQuant, Renata, Caleb, Joshua and Kaitlynn McKenna and awaiting the arrival of a great-grandchildren in 2012; two sisters Janet Robichaud (Armand) and Ann Lanigan (Mark); one brother Brian Cormier (Cathy) all of Moncton; a sister-in-law Karen (the late Gary Cormier); as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant sister Linda and by his brother Gary. By request there is no viewing or visitation at the funeral home. A Graveside and Committal Service will be held at Shaw Brook Cemetery, Victoria Rd. Indian Mountain, NB on Friday January 13, 2012 at 1:30 pm all are welcome to attend.
