Obituary of Daphne King

Daphne King, 87, of Moncton, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Sunday, July 15, 2012. Born in Horley Surrey, England on June 15, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Arthur William White and Ethel Hilda Elizabeth (Fletcher). Daphne was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Moncton, NB. She is survived by two daughters Dorothy King with whom she resided and Leslie "Peggy" Paget (John) of Calgary; four sons Gerald (Janet) of Moncton, Arthur (Jeannette) of Ont, Kenneth (Linda) of Moncton, and David (Marcia) of Moncton; sister Margaret Winters (Malcolm) of Australia; sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Stanley King in 1983; daughters Margaret Ethel in 1951 and Karen Anne in 2007 and by an infant grand-daughter Sharron. The family will received friends at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, corner of MacLaughlin Dr. and Morton Ave. Moncton on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Moncton on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Pastor J.D. Highfill officiating. Interment will be in Wilmot Memorial Cemetery, Lower Coverdale, NB. Donations in Daphne's memory made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church Bible Institute, or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
