Obituary of Doris Belliveau
Doris Belliveau (1918-2012) of Moncton passed away peacefully at the Lakeview Manor Nursing Home in Riverview after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Dauphine Bourgeois and Dianus J. Belliveau. She was predeceased by 3 brothers Yvon, Walter and Leo and 3 sisters Anna Mollins, Anita Belliveau and Maria Larose. Doris was a champion golfer and curler. She enjoyed skiing, skating, music and playing bridge. She had a large circle of friends who remember her generosity, helping hands, sense of humor and witt, and her Joie de Vivre. Doris was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will be missed by many nephews and nieces especially Carm Cyr and Gail Frazee, two wonderful friends Rosalinda and Byran Taylor. Doris worked at Peakes Women's Wear and finally retired from the CNR. Expression of appreciation go to the excellent care received at the Moncton Hospital Geriatrics Unit and the genuine care in the palliative unit at the Lakeview Manor in Riverview. Special thanks to Dr. Bill Taylor for his long term devotion to her, and also to Dr. Fitch.
Condolences will be received at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home with visitation being held on Wednesday October 17, 2012 from 9:30am-11:30am. A funeral mass will be held at Christ Roi Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday October 17, 2012 at 1:00pm followed by a reception at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home. Interment will be held in the St. Jacques de Mageurs Roman Catholic Cemetery in Scoudouc.Donations in Doris's memory, made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Lakeview Manor Nursing Home, would be appreciated.
