NOTICE: Due to weather forecast the funeral has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11:00am. David A. Richard, 57 years, of Upper Coverdale, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. David was born in Antigonish, NS to Roland and Evelyn (MacDonald) Richard. He was a true "Albert County boy" and enjoyed working at building his log homes and most recently his snowplowing business. He loved the outdoors, fishing, spending time with family and friends and his cottage in Margaree, Cape Breton. David's passion for the simple things in life – having a good laugh, chatting with anyone who had the time, enjoying his classic cars and the odd Alpine – and his kind and considerate ways will be remembered fondly by many. He will be sadly missed by his loving parents Roland "Doc" and Evelyn "Evie" of Moncton; his honey, wife Karla (Irving) Richard of Upper Coverdale; sisters Linda Richard of PE, Carol Garland (Keith McCuaig) of Moncton and Claudia Richard of South Korea; brothers Roland (Paula) Richard of Dawson Settlement and John Paul "JP" (Denyse) Richard of Riverview; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm & 7:00pm - 9:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11:00 am with Mr. Ian MacDonald as Master of Ceremonies.
