Obituary of Daisy Kathleen Allison
Allison, Daisy (she never liked this name but I did) Kathleen (she called herself "Kaye) Mackinley March 23, 1925 welcomed this beautiful gentle soul in to the world. February 2, 2015, bade goodbye from this side as she journeyed on to see her loved ones who journeyed before her. Daisy Kathleen (Kaye) Mackinley Allison, 89, formerly of Sherrard Avenue, Moncton, and of Millerton (where a big part of her heart always remained, when it wasnt also dreaming of oceans and beaches and animals) passed away peacefully in her sleep at Briarlea Nursing Home, Moncton, NB (we are so grateful to all the loving staff who have watched over her for us for the past 4.5 years) on Feb. 2. 2015. Born in Millerton, she was the daughter of the late James Raymond Mackinley and Adavilla May "Addie" (Somers) Mackinley. Kaye will have joined her sisters in spirit by now, Carrie Peddle, Norma Barry and Leona Parker; and her brothers Jim and Jack Mackinley and her husband Harvey who adored her, and her best friend, Shirley Doiron who was the one person on the planet who could consistently make her laugh till tears rolled down her cheeks, and by so many beloved pets, but by one in particular, "Jay" who has held her kind loving heart for so many years and who she will be so happy to be with again. She is survived by her darling son, Bradley Allison and beloved daughter in law, Jeanie of Calgary, AB,, her daughter Heather Allisonhames, her dear sisters,Ruby Arseneau of Millerton, NB; Audrey Shaddick of South Esk, NB; Verna Donovan of Miramichi, NB and by her beautiful very much loved grandchildren, Amanda "Amy" Allison, Christopher "Chris" Allison, Matthew "Matt" Allison, Jordan Hames, Mackenzie Hames, Journey Hames and Ben Hames and so many wonderful nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 2:00pm with Rev. Steve Berube officiating. Interment in the spring will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton, NB next to Harvey. Donations in Daisy Kathleen (Kaye)'s memory may be made to the Moncton SPCA ,http://atlanticwildlife.ca/,the Humane Society or to the animal rescue/sanctuary of your choice, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
