Obituary of Audrey Marguerite Colburne

Audrey Marguerite Colburne, age 96 years of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 15, 2010. Born in Scotch Settlement, NB on July 1, 1913 she was the daughter of the late Absolam and Melinda (Smith) MacKinnon. Audrey was a former employee of T. Eaton and Company and was a member of the Braesiders. She is survived by her daughter Linda Murray (Earl) of MacDougall Settlement; grandchildren Nancy Murray (Garth Mallory) of MacDougall Settlement and Heather Murray of Vernon ON; great grandchildren Logan, Rachel and Spencer Mallory also by several nieces and nephews. Audrey was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Hardy William Colburne and by six brothers and two sisters. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Douglas MacEachern and Rev. Claudia Keller officiating. Interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Audrey made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home.
