Obituary of Dorothy Marie Mallory

Dorothy was born in Comeau's Hill, Yarmouth Co. Nova Scotia on August 11, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Evangeline (DeViller) Kenney and the wife of the late Lloyd Everett Mallory who passed away in 1969. Together Dorothy and Lloyd had six children, Susan Morrison and her husband Paul of Hanwell, NB; her sons: Lloyd Mallory of Cocagne, Brian Mallory and his wife Patricia of Sussex Corner, Ron Mallory, who passed away in 2012, and two predeceased infant children: Baby Everett and Baby Mallory; her brother, Herbert Kenney and her sister, Kaye MacRae of Saint John; her daughter-in-law, Carolyn Marr-Mallory; her grandchildren: Lynn Mallory of Miramichi, Karen Mallory of Cocagne, Kari Mallory of Picadilly, Lori Walsh and her husband Pat of Sussex Corner, Cpl. RCMP Mark Morrison and his wife Christine of Drayton Valley, Alberta and Wendy Morrison of Fredericton; her great-grandchildren: Katie Boone, Rob Boone, Aiden Walsh, Blake Morrison, and Hailey Morrison and her great-great-grandchild, Grace Melanson; as well as several nieces and nephews. Dorothy is also predeceased by her brother Renard Kenney, four sisters: Ora Seeley, Freda Kent, Flossie Manchur and Nettie Field; her grandsons: Stephen and Scott Mallory and by her daughter-in-law, Janet Mallory. Mrs. Dorothy Marie (Kenney) Mallory of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on July 29, 2016 in her 93rd year. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held, Monday from 1-3 & 6-8pm. A service celebrating Dorothy's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 11:00am with Rev. Kelly Burke officiating.
