Obituary of Diane Mugridge
Diane Mugridge, 82 , of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Sunday, September 03, 2017. Born in Moncton, a daughter of the late Owen and Dorothy (Morehouse) Branscombe. She was a Moncton High School graduate, class of 1951.
Diane retired from the department of motor vehicle in 1996, she was a member of St. George's Anglican Church and its Vestry, a member of IODE, Charles G.D. Roberts Chapter, and a member of the Moncton Probus Club.
Diane loved to share her pickles, pies, brown bread, and brownies with her friends and family. She took great pleasure spending time with her cats, watching figure skating, and documenting her family heritage. Her strong circle of support included the St. George's Church community, her many friends, and her walking group.
Survived by four children: Patricia Mugridge of Dartmouth, Michael Mugridge of Montreal, Wendy Mugridge of Halifax and Todd Mugridge (Lisa Paschal) of Moncton; two nieces Alexandra Lafford (Joe), Alison Davidson (Mark), and her five grandchildren: Ethan, Alanna, Madeline, Joshua and Aidan, who lovingly referred to her as Beema.
In addition to her parents, Diane was predeceased by her sister Pat Crossman in 2002.
Visitation will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, 51 Church St. Moncton , on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 2-4pm & 7-8:30pm., with funeral service on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from the church at 2pm.
Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
Donations in memory of Diane may be made to St. George's Anglican Church or to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
