Obituary of Arnold Walter Laakso

Arnold Walter Laakso, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the age of 76 years. Born in Whitewood, Sask on November 6, 1933 he was the son of the late Charles and Magda (Luoma) Laakso. He was a former member of The Royal Canadian Air Force and The Royal Canadian Navy. Prior to his retirement Lax was employed by Canada Post. Much loved and sadly missed by his wife Barbara Lily (Coneen) Laakso; sister Velma; niece Susan Strelioff; nephews Carlo Maki, Neil Sundberg, and Brian Sundberg; Lax will be sadly missed by many close friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Lillian, Bertha, Laura, Edla, and Violet; brothers Oswald, Matthew, and Albert. At his request, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service. In Lax's memory, donations made to your local SPCA would be appreciated.
