Obituary of David W. Stiles

Dave Stiles, 71 of New Canaan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 24th, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Middlesex, he was the son of the late Edward and Stella (Harrison) Stiles. Dave was employed and retired from Ryder Logistics as a truck driver. A die hard Toronto Blue Jay and Toronto Maple Leafs Fan, Dave enjoyed life to the fullest, he never gave up the battle with his cancer. He enjoyed playing softball, hockey, bowling and working in the woods with his tractor cutting wood, it was doing what he loved that brought him great joy along with having his 2 furry buddies Casey and Brandy at his side. Dave is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Evelyn; daughter Patty-Lynn Davidson (Jeff); son Marty; step-son Michael Beers, Proud Poppy of Constable K. Prime, Emma, Amanda and Tylor; great-grandson Kole; mother in law Eileen Beers; sister Annie; brother John (Sandy) as well as nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Geraldine and his sister in law Merle In keeping with Dave’s wishes there is no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be at Pleasant Vale Cemetery in the spring. Donations in Dave's memory made to the Friends of the Moncton Foundation "Palliative Care", Dr. Georges L. Dumont hospital Foundation "Oncology Dept", or to the Pleasant Vale Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by his family.
