Obituary of Dorothy Urquhart

Dorothy Urquhart (85) of Riverview New Brunswick passed away peacefully at home. She was the daughter of Carey and Mildred (Jones) Vanwart of Lower Karrs , New Brunswick. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Alpheus Urquhart and their six children, Raymond (Lori) Mahone Bay, NS, Patricia Downe (Rick), Victoria BC, Stephen (Christina) Atlanta, Georgia, Vincent (Tracey), Calgary Alberta, Brent (Wendy) Moncton NB and Leanne Donovan (Randy) Riverview. She took good great pride in her 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents and daughter Angela and brother Willard. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church, Life member of the UBWMU and Pioneer Girls leader of twenty five years, and also past president of the Kinette Club, New Glasgow, NS. A celebration of Dorothy's life will take place at Tuttles Brothers (Riverview) on Saturday, July 7th at 10:00am with visitation Friday the 6th from 6 - 8 pm. Those wishing to express condolences may do so at [email protected] . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Breast Cancer Assoc./Moncton Hospital or to the charity of their choice. A private family burial will take place at Kiersteadville Cemetery at Lower Karrs following the reception.
