Obituary of D.L. Dawn Gesner

Dawn Gesner, of Moncton, NB;　 passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Born in London, England, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Anne L. (Alsford) Grimbly. Dawn was a Veteran of WW II, having served with the W.A.A.F. her tours of duty included England, Europe and the Middle East. She was a former of the Royal Canadian Legion Br.#6 Moncton. A loving and caring mother, sister and friend, she will fondly remembered by her children Kelly Anne Gesner of Victoria, BC and Peter R. Gesner of McKee’s Mills; sister Elsie Gardner of England; she is also survived by nieces and nephews from Australia, England and Norway. 　 Besides her parents she is also predeceased by her three sisters Edna, Marvis and Xenia. The Honouring Dawn's wishes there is no viewing, visitation or funeral, cremation has taken place at Tuttle Brothers Crematorium, Coverdale Rd.Riverview. 　 A private family interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, McKee's Mills, NB Donations in Dawn's memory made to the charity of the donor's choice.
