Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. Many years ago we sold Don a piece of land. A few years later he lived on the street behind us. Floyd and Don went to the stock car races together. Floyd travelled on the road as a wholesale salesman and ate lunch with Don on many occasions at Bordens in Sackville. Floyd is mentioned in Dons book, Personal Stories and Reflections, of which we have a copy. Nice memories.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I worked at Reed Wholesalers from 1981 - 1987. I purchased one of Dons books Personal Stories and Reflections 1965 - 1990 for my father a few years ago after running into Don at the mall one day and hearing that he had written some books. My father is mentioned in this particular book so we both enjoyed reading it. I still remember the day I went to Dons apartment to pick up the book and the lovely chat we had.

My condolences to Dons family. I worked with Don at GE Barbour for many years. We became friends. Occasionally Don would stop for a visit when passing through Sussex. We would chat and share our current life events. I never actually met any of his family members, but he would mention them often, with love shining through. Don certainly made an impression on the world around him and will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace Don, from your old pal Reg (Don always called me Reg or Reggie, his name for me, I loved it, always made me feel special).

To all of Dons family we wish to extend our deepest condolences. I worked with Don for many years at G.E.Barbour Inc and have lots of fond memories. Don was hard working, dependable and loyal at his job. When he said he liked chocolate cake well that was an understatement. We use to make cake for our birthdays with an little extra bonus. Money (coins) wrapped in tin foil. A little surprise ! Cherish each wonderful memory as I know you have many. Don talked about his family a great deal and loved you each dearly. Don loved to spend time with you. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Take care.
