Obituary of John Eric Thompson

John Eric Thompson, of Memramcook, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday February 22, 2006 at the age of 60 years. Born in Toronto,ON on July 10, 1945 he was the son of the late Charles E. and Emma G. (Lockhart) Thompson. John retired in 1993 from the Canadian Armed Forces (RCAF), working in Ontario, Alberta, he spent 12 years in Germany, and toured the Middle East. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Lesley (Hudson); daughters Dawn Korn (Kevin Ferris) of Dartmouth, NS, and Tracey Young (Patrick Mullin) of Winnipeg; sons John (Rachel) Thompson of Ottawa ON, and Christopher (Marsha) Thompson of Oromocto, NB; sister Sarah (Myles) Howe of Waubaushene ON; nine grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister Margaret Belcher; and brother Robert Thompson. Resting at The Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Friday February 24, 2006 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Saturday February 25, 2006 at 2:00 pm with Father Kevin Stockall officiating.
